Our Story

We are the Eiskina brothers! Jeff and Jarrett Eiskina, both of us from Lee's Summit, Missouri. We grew up playing with literally an entire closet full of 1986-1992 Topps, Bowman, Upper Deck, Fleer, Flair, almost everything from the era. When I say "played with" I mean it. During the summertime on days when we couldn't swim because of baseball games that evening, we would get out all the cards, and start putting together teams based on the stats, age, position....we were basically doing MLB Ultimate Team before The show made it a game mode.

The best thing we did during that era was send handwritten letters to our favorite players, including their card, and a self-addressed pre-stamped envelope. It was amazing how many players returned autographs during that time! Kirby Puckett, Frank Thomas, Curt Schilling, Garrett Anderson, and so many of the local royals at the time.

As we into teenage years we found other interests; trucks, girls, college, careers, and got away from collecting cards. Throughout the years we would buy each other "wall-hanging" memorabilia pieces at Christmas time, but that was about the extent of our hobby involvement.

This last Christmas our mom bought us each a box of 2025 Panini Certified hobby boxes, and while we didn't pull anything spectacular, we did get the joy of ripping packs and decided we wanted to dive headfirst back into this thing. We pooled together some cash, established Rips and Snipes LLC, and have started buying/selling/trading locally and online.

Our Goal

We are blessed with employment that allows us to make profit a secondary goal for Rips and Snipes. Profit is something we are seeking; but fair profits resulting from smart buys and selling at a price that's fair for our customers. And hopefully making some good long term plays along the way.

We are in this for three main objectives:

1) Have fun

2) Build the ultimate Personal Collection (PC)
